A landscape from another world

The Rio Tinto in southern Spain is a landscape unlike any other.
Shaped by millions of years of geological processes and centuries of mining, the river carries intense colours, unusual textures and abstract forms.

Rio Tinto feels almost unreal. Iron-rich flowing water, cracked earth, oxidised minerals and centuries of geological transformation have created a landscape that seems to belong to another planet. A landscape full of abstract compositions that are continuously changing.
